I waited patiently for a week for Richard Photo Lab to develop the film photos and of course the scans were perfect! This engagement session was shot entirely on portra 400/contax 645 and I couldn’t be happier with the result. A lot of work went behind this session and I was totally in love with the Teepee while Sarah & Ryan set it up pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was a warm autumn day that almost felt like summer and it went perfectly with the theme. I loved how Sarah dreamt up this concept and ran with it, she painted the antlers, made the teepee and styled her own outfit. The photos turned out exactly how I envisioned it; soft, dreamy and natural. It didn’t take much to capture their love, they were the sweetest couple. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Tulum next May, it’ll be nothing short of extraordinary I am sure!
