Inspired by the clean lines and raw beauty of the Japanese wabi-sabi aesthetic, I collaborated with Honour and Blessing Events to produce this modern bridal shoot at The Pipe Shop Venue at the Shipyards.

Celsia Florist designed the floral arrangements and bridal bouquet to be wild and organic, yet sophisticated and refined. The couture gown by Stesha Ho Bridal Couture features sleek lines, a high slit and elegant silk flower appliques.

Keeping the colour scheme monochromatic allows the beauty of each detail in the design to shine through. The minimalistic chairs serve as elements of modern architecture, creating a sense of airiness and serenity.

Dry hydrangea petals add a natural touch to the simple structure of the wedding cake from Cake by Nicole. For the tablescape, modern gold tableware, ceramic plates and simple grey and white table linens from A&B Partytime Rentals create a balance of bold and delicate. The stationery by Liza Child is a mix of sleek typography and organic calligraphy, with soft colours to add simplicity and depth.
